What a real COA includes
A certificate of analysis (COA) is the document that turns a purity claim into verified data. Every COA we issue is matched to the specific production lot shipped in your order — not a generic specification sheet reused across every batch we've ever sold. Each COA includes: the lot number, HPLC purity result, testing method, mass-spectrometry sequence or identity confirmation, test date, appearance, and solubility notes.
Why lot-matching matters
A COA that isn't tied to a specific lot number is effectively unverifiable — you have no way to confirm the document actually describes the material in your vial rather than a different (possibly better) batch. This is one of the most common shortcuts taken by suppliers cutting corners, and one of the easiest to check: ask for the lot number on your COA to match the lot number on your vial label.
